My first memories of Pastor Manders is about when I was 8. On Saturday nights he would put on the skates and do lots of tricks. I was still young and did not remember him getting baptized. I do remember the dread locks though. I remember those days of being on the island of Bermuda and actually having something to do on a Saturday night.
What did I learn from him? I learned that no matter where you come from and people do not believe you can achieve, keep on going anyway. What I respect about him is that he embraced the whole Seventh-Day Adventist Religion and became a minister. I will always look up to him. He takes his job very seriously as President of the Bermuda Conference.
